Summary: Amarok hangs system when voluming up too fast
           Product: amarok
           Version: 1.4.8
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist kde org
        ReportedBy: mail fathomssen de

Version: 1.4.8 (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.2.3 Gentoo 4.2.3 p1.0
OS: Linux

Hi,

when I listen to music and turn the volume up very fast (by keeping the VolUp key \
pressed), the whole system hangs (sometimes the mouse survives) - neither \
Ctrl-Alt-Backspace or Ctrl-Alt-F1 works, only the reset button!

Maybe helpful:
