That only helps when the end-user is 'in charge', since they don't redistribute the \
binaries, and thereby don't incur the resulting license obligations.
However, if the 'person in charge' is producing a binary package for a distribution, \
their licensing obligations will prevent them from including AAC support, unless they \
can come up with a workaround.
What might work for the distributor is to build the Amarok package without AAC taglib \
support, and then to build a separate taglib package with AAC patches. Amarok would \
have to be changed to allow this, because the situation is the reverse; Amarok uses a \
taglib/AAC addin, and links with non-AAC taglib.
Or the collection scanner could be made LGPL, which is compatible with MPL.
