Summary: non-intuitive procedure when adding external media
                    device in Amarok
           Product: amarok
           Version: 1.4.6
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist kde org
        ReportedBy: lundbymads gmail com

Version: 1.4.6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

For a while I assumed think my ipod wasn't working with Amarok, because I didn't find \
the "hidden" path to add it in the 'Settings'-menu. I thought the ipod would show up \
in Amarok, when mounted to the PC. From a noob users viewpoint it doesn't seem \
logical that it is necessary to go to the 'Configure Amarok'-menu in order to add a \
media device. Maybe you could add a 'search for media devices'-button in the \
'Devices' sidebar. Or just a shortcut button to 'settings -> Configure Amarok -> \
Media Devices'?

Thank you for a great application!
