It occurs here exactly as reporter mentions. Another workaround is to wait until \
amarok pops up the message about source cannot be read and then play another local \
file. Then play the stream again. it will now work. My setup is kubuntu 6.10 with \
amarok 1.4.5. _______________________________________________
