           Summary: krename style id3 editing
           Product: amarok
           Version: 1.4.4
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist kde org
        ReportedBy: joh6nn hotpop com

Version: 1.4.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

it would be nice to be able to edit multiple id3 tags in the style of krename.

as an example of what i have in mind, assume a user's collection contained files with \
the following as their id3 tags: Artist | Title
"Some Random Artist"	|	"Some Random Artist - The First Track"
"Some Random Artist"	|	"Some Random Artist - Example Track 2"
"Some Random Artist"	|	"Some Random Artist - The Third Track"
"Some Random Artist"	|	"Some Random Artist - Yet Another Track"

i would like to be able to delete the string "Some Random Artist - " from all 4 of \
those tags, as one action, leaving only the actual titles of the tracks in the Title \
field. _______________________________________________
