Summary: Multiple collection browsers / Tabbed browsing
           Product: amarok
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: CollectionBrowser
        AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist kde org
        ReportedBy: xororand frexx de

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

When browsing my collection in order to create a new playlist I sometimes want to jump back to \
some other part of the collection or search for some artist. Of course, performing any action \
in the search window will discard the current state of the collection browser. To avoid this, \
it would be great to be able to create multiple instances of the collection browser. This \
could for instance be realized in form of tabs as seen in web browsers like Firefox, Konqueror \
or Opera, with a button that opens a new collection browser tab and another one that closes the \
current. _______________________________________________
