Anyone. They're all symbols to the same actual service (which has rather
inconveniant names like :1.12345 ;-)

Do NOT "kill -9", kill defaults to SIGTERM which *should* be sufficient.
"9" is SIGKILL which will make the kernel remove the process but that
won't clean up and may leave some mess behind. It's a last resort kill
*iff* regular killing fails (despite its name, "kill" actually sends
signals to processes)
