I agree that using last.fm stats directly could be useful, but in my case I
have a shared collection with two different last.fm accounts, since my wife
works from home the media machine here points to her last.fm account while
my laptop goes with me to work. The laptop is the master, and at night the
DBs sync up. This works for us because she has less patience with things
like sorting out album covers and track names etc, while for me it's a nice
break from coding.
