Jud,
I appreciate the effort you took in presenting your improvement, but
in the future please be more succinct. From experience I can tell you
that we are much less likely to read and consider a proposal the
length of a short story.

There are infact many more cons that you may realise, including:
 - Multiple user conflicts
 - Unintuitive rating changes (ratings are static, manually set values)
 - You're confusing score and rating (internal to amarok), and rating
(tag attribute). If you're confusing them, so will everyone else.

I only just skimmed your email so I may have missed out on a few
things. I'll give it a more detailed look later.
