Precious little work has been put into Amarok on Windows (and very little on 
Amarok on Mac, too).  It's not that we won't tackle these problems, it's that 
*nix is our main target and will continue to be our main target, so we're 
getting things working there first.  After all, once architectural changes 
are finished, we can stop re-porting efforts to Windows and Mac as things 
change.

Don't worry, it is still planned...there's just plenty to be done on *nix 
first.
