"Your playlist is cleared; press _undo_ to restore it." Myself, I'm not a fan of "are you sure" dialogs - many times it just causes annoyance and confuses new users. But for undoable operations, such as deleting files, I'm still used to seeing such dialog. Actions that can be undone are another story. For example, Gmail has these nondisturbing "popups" when you for example delete a mail. Myself, I'm not a fan of "are you sure" dialogs - many times it just causes annoyance and confuses new users. But for undoable operations, such as deleting files, I'm still used to seeing such dialog.

Actions that can be undone are another story. For example, Gmail has these nondisturbing "popups" when you for example delete a mail.

I think a note in the cleared playlist would be really good - it doesn't disturb those who just want to clear the playlist, but if someone who isn't used to Amarok accidentally clears the playlist, he/she can easily restore it (and also learn about the undo feature).
