i edited the conf.modules file and got line errors with the file and
lost my nic. i put the orginal file back and got my nic working again so
i could email you. i never had sound working. this is what my
conf.modules looks like now

alis eth0 rt18139
alis parport_lowlevel parport_pc

what should it look like to get my yamaha ymf-724 pci soundcard to work?
