When I run ./configure, everything is fine, but when I run a "make
install", I eventually get:

"gcc -DALSA_BUILD -D__KERNEL__ -O2 -m386 -DCPU=386 -DLINUX -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -I/usr/src/linux/include
-I.. -DEXPORT_SYMTAB -c pcm_lib.c gcc: Internal compiler error: program
cc1 got fatal signal 11 make[1]: *** [pcm_lib.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving
directory `/tmp/alsa/alsa-driver-0.5.8b/kernel' make: *** [compile] Error
1
bash# cpp: output pipe has been closed"

Any suggestions? I'm running Linux Slackware, Kernel 2.2.6.

Thanks,
Ryan
