So there is no need to put them at the front of the CLASSPATH.

I've run a complete jakarta Gump build (my personal Ant 1.5_BRANCH
testbed) with a patched build.xsl that puts the jars from <depend> in
front of the <work> entries.  Everything worked as well/bad as before.

I'll follow this for some more days and eventually commit the patch.
