Thank you for the level of OFA, but what level of Oracle Express? Or are you

We are running on Express 6.2.0.X
Thanks

What level of Express are you running on your v4.1.5 setup?

Bob,

I don't know what version of OFA you are on, but we will be testing OFA
4.8.1 on
AIX v4.3.3 next week.

We are currently still running OFA 4.8.1 on AIX v4.1.5 and had a major issue
with it related to /etc/security/limits.

I don't have the details at hand but basically I believe we set the data
value
in the limits file to -1 (unlimited) because we wanted to allocate more
memory
to the Oracle Rel DB. As of this the Oracle Express Server started abending
every time after 6 hours of batch processing. Using svmon (PTX) we found OFA
Express v4.8 to have a memory leak, as memory leaked away the data segment
became bigger and bigger, until the data segment overlapped with the stack
segment (6 hours leaking) and caused the OFA application to abend/abort.

Regards,
Bruno

Question concerning OFA using Oracle Express on AIX 4.3.2
I am looking at vmtune or /etc/security/limits settings. Has anyone
had any experience in this they could share? Thanks in advance
for any information.
