You need a POP server. I recommend popper (sometimes called Qpopper). You
can get the software at possibly precompiled at
ftp://aixpdslib.seas.ucla.edu or source for sure at ftp://ftp.qualcomm.com.
Installing the software is rather trivial.

Cheers!

Subject: Getting mail.

    Dear friends,

I am running an Aix Version 4, and I'm having trouble whit a user who
can't take his messages to home. I explain: We can read messages well
with pine, but Netscape nor Eudora can't take the messages from
server...The connection is made, but when he gets the message, nothing
comes.
I've verified and it isn't a big message(tried do delete all messages
and make a little "test" message), there's no file in /tmp, no
pine_debug...etc...
The user's machine perfectly set, I've tried to take messages from
another account in the same server, and it worked..
    Could you, please, help me?

The man who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the
crowd. The man who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no
one has ever been.
