Definitely. Most environments have AD authentication through proxy servers now. I \
have to double hop because my UNIX servers can't pass AD credentials passively. \
Windows does this in the background.

Try passive mode, it could be a firewall rule.

Subject: ftp between pseries servers

Dear All,

Issue is somewhat peculiar, when we ftp a file from one AIX 5.3 server
to another AIX server, it timed out after a while.

But if we first ftp the file to a PC and then ftp to target server, it
works.

What can be the issue here?

Thanks.
