There was a LIBPATH variable exported in the user's .kshrc file that once I added it \
as an entry to the startup script seemed to fix up my issues.

The application may also be expecting STDIN to be allocated.
I'm not 100% positive, but I don't think cron does that (or maybe I'm
thinking of Redhat).

Hey Guys,
I have an application that is set to stop and start via cron.
It stops fine but when it tries to start via a script it core dumps.
If I just execute the script it as the user it works properly.
My guess is that I am missing some environment variable that is not read
when executed via cron so I'll investigate that.
To get any information out of the core file do I use dump?
Mark
