There are many fixes for jfs file corruption that take you way past 5.2 ML2.
The last took us to ML6++. Get them :-)

Subject: node crash when we read a db2-file with more

Hi,

we have a problem on one of our 7026-6H1 node. The node runs with AIX 5.2
ML2 and DB2 Version 8.1 Fixpack7a
It is our DB2-Server.
Yesterday we increase the db2-tablespace and this creates two new containers
(easy_long10 and easy_long11). Always runs fine, rebalancer from
DB2 says o.k. and successfull

-rw-r-x--- 1 db2igspi db2admin 2147483648 Dec 14 15:21 easy_long10.db2
-rw-r-x--- 1 db2igspi db2admin 2147483648 Dec 14 15:21 easy_long09.db2
-rw-r-x--- 1 db2igspi db2admin 2147483648 Dec 14 15:21 easy_long08.db2
-rw-r-x--- 1 db2igspi db2admin 2147483648 Dec 14 15:21 easy_long07.db2
-rw-r-x--- 1 db2igspi db2admin 2147483648 Dec 14 15:21 easy_long06.db2
-rw-r-x--- 1 db2igspi db2admin 2147483648 Dec 14 15:21 easy_long05.db2
-rw-r-x--- 1 db2igspi db2admin 2147483648 Dec 14 15:21 easy_long04.db2
-rw-r-x--- 1 db2igspi db2admin 2147483648 Dec 14 15:21 easy_long02.db2
 -rw-r-x--- 1 db2igspi db2admin 2147483648 Dec 14 15:21 easy_long01.db2

Now when we start the more-command on one of the old files it runs, we get
output.
When we start a more on new files the node crahs complete. Here the part of the
errorlog. What can we do? Any tips?
