Hi,

Read on BT page
http://www.globalservices.bt.com/static/assets/pdf/products/diamond_ip/IPv6-Survey-Report-2016.pdf
.

They are at their 6th annual IPv6 industry survey

I copy here the key survey findings :

 * results were split between deployers (51%) and non-deployers .
Educational area is mainly in the non-deployer category :-\

 * big networks ( > 100k addresses) actively deploy IPv6 if not already
having completed deployment

 * service providers led deployment ... focused primarily on IPv6 over MPLS

 * top benefit of Ipv6 deployment : continued global internet presence
as the Internet evolves ...

 * at last but not least : the perception that larger address space is
the leading obstacle despite its timely availability followed by
complexity and staff training requirements.

Of course, this survey is not (directly) related to africa but it's good
to keep in mind these figures :)
