I'm glad to hear you're aware of the procedures.
With regards to the question on why .ml was redelegated, I suggest you check out the \
minutes of the board meeting that will approve the redelegation, if indeed it gets to \
that point.
And why the congratulations, you ask. Well, in my book I salute any African country \
which has made progress in national development, including in the areas of Internet \
infrastructure and Internet governance. I hope you now get the picture.

I am aware of the Consensus Agenda, by the way, but that's hardly the
point. The question is WHY .ML was redelegated, tough I assume from
the silence that it was uncontested

I'm not sure any views (pro or con) would, at this point, matter much. The issue is \
in the consent agenda of the board, and all other items on it (the consent agenda) \
are voted on as a block. Unless a board member requests that the issue be taken off \
the consent agenda, and discussed and voted on separately, the redelegation can be \
considered a done deal. Congratulations to Mali!
