Bonjour Anne,
au dela de la procedure de la mise en place d'un .AFRICA, il existe
des discensions sur les lieux, les manieres de gestions, dont les resolutions
sont evidement du ressort des africains.
Esperons que tous ces differents seront applanies dans une bonne inteligence!
En tout cas c'est une tres bonne nouvelle!

Bientôt un .AFRICA ?







L'Afrique : 30 221 532 km2, 20,3 % de la surface des terres émergées, 996 533 200 \
habitants, 15,54% de la population mondiale, 48 pays, mais… aucune existence en \
tant que continent sur la carte de l'Internet. Mais les choses pourraient évoluer \
avec un .AFRICA



  


Menée sous l'égide de l'Union Africaine, une réunion des ministres de la \
communication qui vient de se tenir à Johannesburg a soulevé la question d'un \
.ASIA, à l'image du .EU (pour l'Europe) ou du .ASIA (pour les pays localisés en \
Asie et au Moyen-Orient),  

Un sommet des chefs d'État et de gouvernement, prévu en 2010, devrait accélérer \
le processus. En dernier ressort, c'est l'  ICANN  qui décidera si un domaine de \
premier niveau (gTLD) propre au continent africain doit être créé, et qui doit le \
gérer.

Cette nouvelle est encourageante car la réservation de nom de domaine reste complexe \
dans certains pays d'Afrique : délais incertains, procédures fastidieuses, absence \
de whois… Au-delà de la visibilité qu'il apporterait, un .Africa faciliterait les \
démarches.   À suivre.
