Take a look at the TSM upgrade guide.

This details the processes for upgrading a 5.x server to 6.x.  
It is really more a migration than an upgrade, but essentially, it is a db export, \
followed by a db import. Then you only need to rework your library  and stgpool \
definitions.

Gjust going through this  process now.

That the problem, we have the  old tsm 5.5 server (with lto3 tape library) on Windows \
server 2003 and we export this server to the new tsm server 6.3 (with lto6 tape \
library) and windows server 2008.

This export can it work in these conditions?
