Depends on the client.

For Win95:
Go to a DOS window and run the showpw.exe command from your
adsm/baclient subdirectory.

For WinNT:
Go to a DOS window and run the dsmcscvi.exe command from your
adsm/bacline subdirectory.
On WinNT, only the system administrator can run dsmcscvi.exe.

For AIX:
Users don't need the password to run the GUI.

Actually, our users bring up the GUI, they enter the password
they originally knew, the GUI tells them wrong password.
The user then calls out Hotline and tells them they have
forgotten their ADSM password, and the Hotline resets it
for them.

Of course, then the scheduler is broken because the password
it knows for the node has changed. Trying to get our
users to run the service installed to change/display pwd's
is pretty hopeless.

Because of these problems we do not user password access
generate except on Unix machines. I am waiting for the
Windows clients to fully support it, as the Unix
clients currently do.
