Jakub Korab commented on AMQ-5696:
----------------------------------

This could be a case of incorporating the code into the activemq-client jar as \
described in AMQ-5558.

> Key: AMQ-5696

> Project: ActiveMQ
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Performance Test
> Affects Versions: 5.11.1
> Reporter: Jakub Korab
>
> The current test tool requires a Maven project to be configured with the perf test \
> plugin. While this is useful in some scenarios, in the majority of instances when \
> you want to run it in production environments Maven repos are not available for \
> access, and you end up pre-loading a local repo on a laptop, zipping it and \
> installing manually into the environment to test. It would be much handier to have \
> the test tool distributed as an executable fat jar.
