Robbie Gemmell updated AMQ-5346:
--------------------------------
Attachment: AMQ-5346-detach.patch
Attaching patch to make the new 'link detach' event get processed in the same manner \
as would have been when exposed as a 'link close' event previously (when detach with \
closed=false was not really supported).
This resolves the hangs I have been seeing running the tests, which I narrowed down \
to PROTON-677 / http://svn.apache.org/r1627098 being added. We might want to handle \
the detach differently in future, but for now it is just doing exactly what it did \
before, and in doing so covering the client requesting the wrong thing originally \
(which was already changed in subsequent client releases).

> As part of the next release we will want to move up to Proton v0.8 which will \
> incorporate several fixes as well as improvements in the codec speed and memory \
> usage. For now we should move onto the published 1.0-SNAPSHOT builds and start \
> testing to find any issues that fall out from the upgrade. Dejan has already \
> created a patch that deals with the API changes.
