Here's my version: V4R6.1 R01-C0O (same as everybody else apparently).
I installed a vanilla 2.6.6 with Hartwig's config file (after a "make
oldconfig", no other modification), and it doesn't power off.
So it's not the kernel. What can it be?
For reference, I run gentoo.
