I was hesitant to recommend a specific Live CD since I wanted to be sure
to recommend one that did include Abiword by default. I have a strong
feeling Ubuntu does not include Abiword on their Live CD which is
unfortunate given how slow some other applications can be on a Live CD.

Knopppix does include Abiword in the standard version.

Puppy Linux seems to be one of the few other distributions to include
Abiword[1] by default. http://puppylinux.org
